Their story began five years ago Callie fell madly crazily in love with Zahir But the war in his country was raging and nurturing their relationship was tenuous at best When Callie was captured the experience was terrifying Zahir found and rescued her but he knew it would be impossible to insulate her from danger in his country Despite his wishes to be together he knew that to keep her Basic story was goodI probably would have enjoyed the story if the author had a better understanding of the cognitive abilities of a 4 year old child I had a hard time believing that a 4 year old child was reading Harry Potter and Percy Jackson That s the reading level of a 9 10 year old That distracted me during the entire story Sometimes the child behaved age appropriate and other times not so much Because of that inconsistency I struggled with enjoying the story

Tivity And she raises her son When Zahir enters her life once she can’t believe that the fire between them is hotter than before But she refuses to give in despite its intensity She’s too afraid that the peace between the previously warring countries will end and that she or her son could be in peril again She yearns to feel safe but can she defy her heart or deny her son his father First let me say as much as i loved the story in this book i was confused at first because it is the same country as Prince Zoran but no one says anything about what happened to him or any of the other 4 only that There was a 10 year war Hopefully Elizabeth will explain this in book 4This is my favorite story of the 3 books You meet someone fall in love go to his country get kidnapped get rescued and set to AMERICA Find out you are pregnant and then one day out of the blue the Prince shows up to take you homeoH yes good story to be had and i do think this is a good one Ready for the next one

Love itGreat book My only complaint is the fact that the time frame of the war is so confusing If the men in this series are supposed to be the direct descendants of the original couples whose dissolved marriage contracts started the war then at least two of the men would only be about 12 years old if the war only lasted for 10 years but sta
