He’s a professional hockey player trying to survive on his new team I’m just trying to survive I’m down to my last dollar I live day to day in a world that doesn’t care Despite my bad luck I’m a fighter I never give up I never stop trying Ryan Parker's wealth and generosity sets him apart from anyone I know This was uite a nice hockey romance Hot hockey player befriends young homeless woman They formed a genuine friendship although there was attraction always underlying the friendship on both sides I did like the respect that Ryan showed to Zoey He genuinely cared about her as well as wanting to ahem get into her pants But I got a little tired of all the roadblocks and delays to the relationship It felt a little forced at times I liked that there was some actual hockey in the book too and some real interactions between players etc It s annoying when you read a sports romance and there s no actual sport But that wasn t the case hereThis was a 35 star read for me till I got to the epilogue which was a disappointment as it seemed to be just a setup for the next book about Mica Oddly it was followed by a bonus chapter or second epilogue which I just plain disliked because it was almost like reading porn Just no Turned me off and I wished I hadn t read it Not necessary and it didn t fit the tone of the rest of the book It made me take off the half star actually Oh well I guess I ll read Mica s book when it s out anyway A Daddy for Christmas romance Hot hockey player befriends young homeless woman They formed a genuine friendship although there was attraction always underlying the friendship on both sides I did like the Banned in Britain respect that Ryan showed to Zoey He genuinely cared about her as well as wanting to ahem get into her pants But I got a little tired of all the Hour of the Beast roadblocks and delays to the Dictionary Of Dreams relationship It felt a little forced at times I liked that there was some actual hockey in the book too and some The Love of a Latino real interactions between players etc It s annoying when you Other Days, Other Eyes read a sports Deception Island romance and there s no actual sport But that wasn t the case hereThis was a 35 star The Family read for me till I got to the epilogue which was a disappointment as it seemed to be just a setup for the next book about Mica Oddly it was followed by a bonus chapter or second epilogue which I just plain disliked because it was almost like The First Partition of Poland reading porn Just no Turned me off and I wished I hadn t The Hero of Varay read it Not necessary and it didn t fit the tone of the Palestrina and Other Plays rest of the book It made me take off the half star actually Oh well I guess I ll Blackmailed By Daddy read Mica s book when it s out anyway

Changed everything It changed me I started to believe in myself I allowed myself to trust And for the first time in a long time I felt my heart beat again In the game of love winning is harder than it looks I don’t know the rules I don’t know how to win But I’ll play my heart out until the whistle blows Home Gam The story of homeless zoey and hockey player Ryan Ryan meets Zoe in a coffee shop when he is failing to do his accounts She helps him and he ends up hiring her to do his book keeping I really enjoyed this story and couldn t put it down I loved that Zoey was a survivor and that Ryan was so kind hearted The two both seemed lonely and lost until they found each other It was a sweet story Why only three starsWell there were a few things that weren t for me Initially Zoe is so vulnerable and innocent She felt like a 14 year old than here 21 years It just felt a bit wrong Zoey is almost too vulnerable In the beginning she hero worships Ryan and would do anything to make him happy This didn t sit well with me Luckily the author acknowledges this and we get a really nice character development with Zoey as she becomes stronger In general though I felt she was a wounded bird I prefer a stronger heroine with banter There was a big gap in their relationship 8 months That felt too long to me personally It just made me sad Especially when it was all based on a lack of communication Bianca the PA was too evil She just wasn t believable and I felt that Ryan should have worked out her game earlier on I feel the author could have been far subtle with her character The proper hot bits don t really get going until 90% I didn t uite get the feels with this I always felt Zoey was too vulnerable and it was all sweet virginal innocence until the last chapters where it ramps up into mild erotica Just a bit jarring But I did enjoy it I loved the IKEA references I will read the others How Julian and Nigel Turned Each Other Gay (Inadvertently), or So They Both Claim rules I don’t know how to win But I’ll play my heart out until the whistle blows Home Gam The story of homeless zoey and hockey player Ryan Ryan meets Zoe in a coffee shop when he is failing to do his accounts She helps him and he ends up hiring her to do his book keeping I The Mage (Foxcraft, Book 3) really enjoyed this story and couldn t put it down I loved that Zoey was a survivor and that Ryan was so kind hearted The two both seemed lonely and lost until they found each other It was a sweet story Why only three starsWell there were a few things that weren t for me Initially Zoe is so vulnerable and innocent She felt like a 14 year old than here 21 years It just felt a bit wrong Zoey is almost too vulnerable In the beginning she hero worships Ryan and would do anything to make him happy This didn t sit well with me Luckily the author acknowledges this and we get a Illustrated Workbook for Self-Therapy for Your Inner Critic really nice character development with Zoey as she becomes stronger In general though I felt she was a wounded bird I prefer a stronger heroine with banter There was a big gap in their Earthfall (Homecoming, relationship 8 months That felt too long to me personally It just made me sad Especially when it was all based on a lack of communication Bianca the PA was too evil She just wasn t believable and I felt that Ryan should have worked out her game earlier on I feel the author could have been far subtle with her character The proper hot bits don t A Daddy for Christmas really get going until 90% I didn t uite get the feels with this I always felt Zoey was too vulnerable and it was all sweet virginal innocence until the last chapters where it Banned in Britain ramps up into mild erotica Just a bit jarring But I did enjoy it I loved the IKEA Hour of the Beast references I will Dictionary Of Dreams read the others
